'I'm his biggest fan': Ivan Rakitic names Barca icon as his favourite player ever – NOT Messi

"I wanna say, I'm the biggest fan of Neymar. So, Neymar, all the time in my team. All the time in my team," Ivan Rakitic has told the media.

"Not above Messi, though?" the Croatian was asked by the hosts.

"He's my favourite player. But of course, Messi is the best. Not only now, in the history of football, for sure," he replied.

While explaining his choice, Ivan also noted that Ney makes football 'look like dancing'.

During his Barca days, Rakitic was apparently more friends with Neymar than with Leo Messi or Luis Suarez – maybe that's one of the reasons behind his choice.
