Guardiola to Barca Femeni superstar: 'I will become Barca president and appoint you sporting director'

In a documentary shared by TV3, Pep Guardiola joked with Barca Femeni forward Aitana Bonmati that he would make her dream of becoming a sporting director come true when he becomes Barcelona president.

"I will be the president of Barca and I will sign you as sports director," Guardiola said to Bonmati.

Bonmatti also joked she might be the one to sign Pep as Barca's coach if he continues coaching until he turns 80.

"We will see who makes the offer to whom,” replied.

Guardiola maintains close ties with Barca and could return to the club in some capacity. But it's unlikely that the Man City tactician would ever return to coach Barca as he's repeatedly criticized the pressure that follows the job.
