Barcelona want to keep Xavi despite the team's latest results as they value the work he has done since arriving in 2021. Besides, they are unable to invest a lot in the new manager given the worrying financial situation.

Xavi could re-consider his decision to leave if he is given 'certain squad guarantees' for next season. He apparently wants the club to make some big signings which seems incredibly difficult.

For the first time in months, Xavi is said to be finally open to staying put; however, the final decision is yet to be made.
