Xavi set to face his 'main enemy' v Real Madrid – it's not even living being

The pitch quality at the Santiago Bernabeu is quite poor ahead of El Clasico, reports Relevo's Manuel Amor.

It hasn't improved much since Real Madrid faced Manchester City at home on April 9. That night, both the Whites and the Citizens were concerned about the grass condition.

Real Madrid are yet to find a solution of the problem as the current methods of improving the pitch quality don't work.

Xavi will probably be unimpressed with the Bernabeu grass later on Sunday. The Barca boss is jokingly called a 'grass cutter' for his reverent attitude to the issue – he always wants the pitch to be perfect.
