Sergino Dest suffers serious injury at PSV, 'could be out until 2025'

Sergino Dest has picked up a serious knee injury during PSV's latest training session, the club confirm.

The American 'could be out until 2025', according to multiple reports.

It's heartbreaking. Dest was enjoying a brilliant season with the Dutch side, reviving his best form at left-back. PSV were going to trigger the €10m buy-out clause at the end of the season; we're yet to see if the setback impacts their plan.

The 23-year-old registered nine goal contributions in 37 appearances for the Eredivisie champions this season. He is on loan from Barcelona until July.
