Pedri has joined the bandwagon of Barca protagonists asking Xavi not to leave the club at the end of the season.
“We have always been with the coach to the death and as long as he is with us it will be yes, we hope it will be for many years," Pedri said.
"He [Xavi] grew up at Barca and we [the players] try to defend the club like he did as a player.
"I hope you think again, Xavi, and stay for a long time,” Pedri adds.
Pedri came on for 30 minutes in the game against PSG and registered an assist almost immediately. The Spaniard also made 2 recoveries and had a 100% pass accuracy. It was a tremendous performance for a player who has been out for a month through injury.
Perhaps Xavi would listen to his star midfielder and change his mind about leaving.
