Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann is reportedly the current frontrunner to become the next Barcelona manager next season.
When asked about what lies in his future ahead of Euro 2024, Nagelsmann said: “There’s good chance that I'll sign before the Euros if I have an offer that I'm happy with. But I don't have anything on the table as of now.
“Nothing is concrete in terms of talks. It’s all open, focus on the Euros. BVB (Borussia Dortmund)? You should ask them, not me.”
Dortmund are reportedly in the running to hire Naglesmann next season to replace their current gaffer Erdin Terzic as well.
The Barca project is, of course, much more appealing than managing another Bundesliga side for Nagelsmann – but it remains to be seen if Joan Laporta strongly pushes to bring him in as Xavi’s successor.
