Should Barcelona be worried about their participation in the 2024/25 Supercopa?

In some way, yes. If the season had finished right now, Barca wouldn't have been part of the competition after finishing third in La Liga and missing out on the Copa del Rey final. The participants would've been Real Madrid (La Liga winners), Girona (La Liga runner-ups), Athletic Club (Copa del Rey final participants) and Mallorca (Copa del Rey final participants).

Finishing first or second in La Liga would mean Barcelona are back on the list of the Supercopa participants. They are currently two points behind Girona in the league table, so everything is pretty much open.

The 2024/25 Spanish Supercopa will take place in Saudi Arabia from January 10 to January 14.
