Atletico demand at least €70m for Joao Felix — Barca's position on keeping him beyond 2024 revealed (reliability: 4 stars)

Marca report that Atletico Madrid are demanding between €70m and €80m to sell Joao Felix in the summer.

Barcelona are unable to afford this fee. The Catalans will only entertain another loan for the 24-year-old if he's to stay at the club beyond this summer.

The forward is on loan at the club until the end of the season and there is no option to make the move permanent. Felix's contract with Atleti expires in 2027.

The Portuguese has scored eight goals and provided five assists in 30 appearances for Barcelona across all competitions so far this season. It's been a rather good season for the striker at Barca but he's lost his place in the starting lineup over the past few weeks.
