Xavi intends to unleash his famous four midfielders tactic in the El Clasico Supercopa final on Sunday.
The Barca gaffer has found some success playing this system in the past, particularly last season when Barca proved too strong for everyone else in Spain to win La Liga.
It's an open secret what Xavi plans to do come Sunday. The tactician said in his press conference that he plans to give his team numerical superiority in midfield areas to dominate the ball and make life difficult for Real Madrid.
The question is, which players will Xavi deploy in his starting XI, considering he starts with four midfielders?
Two players will almost certainly start the game. Ilkay Gundogan and Frenkie De Jong. Both men were tremendous against Osasuna in the semi-final with Frenkie winning the Man of the Match.
Pedri should also start the game if he's fully fit. The Spaniard played 30+ minutes against Osasuna and was a joy to watch.
The last midfield slot would go to captain Sergi Roberto. The skipper has been playing quite well lately, even though he continues to be criminally underrated.
