Barcelona will clash Real Madrid in the final of the Spanish Super Cup in yet another El Clasico scheduled for Sunday, January 14.
Speaking to the media ahead of the clash, the Blaugrana boss Xavi named one thing the team should stick to in order to win.
"We are here for the title. It doesn't matter if we play with three, four or five midfielders. It is about fixing, triangulations and numerical superiorities. A DNA that Johan Cruyff instilled 30 years ago.
"Last year we were very proud of Barca and this is the path we are looking for. To win Madrid, we need to stay faithful to Cruyffismo."
As a reminder, the Catalans clinched their first title in Xavi's era with a 3-1 victory over Madrid in the final here, in Riyadh, a year ago. That was a pivotal moment for the players who went on to win the league as well.
This weekend, Barca will be looking to replicate the last year's success.
