Here are the seven* Barcelona players whose current deals at Camp Nou expire by June 2025, which is less than 18 months from now.
1. Marcos Alonso
The Catalans have reportedly opted not to renew the defender's contract upon its expiration, contemplating either finding a buyer for the player or allowing him to leave on a free transfer in summer.
2. Sergi Roberto
Despite the initial plans to part ways with the Barca veteran, his recent performances made Xavi consider keeping him at the club for one more season. As of now, Barcelona have not initiated any renewal discussions, though.
3. Joao Felix
The Barca gaffer is said to be against the idea of keeping the Atletico loanee beyond this season. The decision is based on two factors: the Portuguese's inconsistent form and the hefty price tag.
4. Joao Cancelo
Unlike Felix, Cancelo has higher chances of continuing in Catalunya next season. He's not in Pep Guardiola's plans at Man City and, as long as the Blaugrana secure the funds to sign him, the wing-back is here to stay.
5. Inigo Martinez
The 32-year-old has a deal running until June 2025. Given his age and injury proneness, it's unlikely that he will extend his stay beyond the current agreement.
6. Ilkay Gundogan
The German midfielder joined Barca for two seasons, through to June 2025. He has the option to stay for an extra year based on his performances, though.
7. Robert Lewandowski*
The Polish striker's contract is set until summer 2026, but it's structured as a 3+1 deal. Should he not play in at least 55% of Barca's matches in that season, either through starting them or by playing at least 45 minutes in each, he could see his deal terminated early by 12 months.
