Ilaix Moriba in talks with La Liga club, could reunite with ex-Barca midfielder (reliability: 5 stars)

Ilaix Moriba is in advanced talks with Getafe, reports Matteo Moretto.

The former Barcelona talent is personally wanted by their head coach Jose Bordalas.

The 20-year-old could reunite with Carles Alena at Getafe. He would also play alongside Mason Greenwood at the La Liga side.

Moriba's downgrade continues. Since leaving Barca for €16m in 2021, he has flopped at both Valencia and RB Leipzig, falling completely out of favour in the Bundesliga club.

Despite being a promising central midfielder, Moriba reportedly has had attitude issues that halt his progress.

Ilaix Moriba scored one goal and delivered 3 assists in 18 appearances for the Catalans. He had been part of Blaugrana since 2010.
