Deco 'scolds' De Jong for missing Antwerp game: 'What does it mean you're sick?'

RAC1 (via Diario Sport) carry a report saying that Deco has clashed with Frenkie de Jong over the Dutchman missing the Antwerp game.

The sporting director reportedly called the midfielder and asked him why he was not in the squad. De Jong replied that he was ill, to which Deco said: "What does it mean that you are sick, has the doctor certified it?"

The Portuguese supposedly thought that it's an excuse on the 26-year-old's part and 'scolded' him.

There is another layer to this story. When Barcelona initially named their squad for the game, Lewandowski, Araujo and Gundogan were missing as Xavi wanted to give them a rest.

However, they were added to the squad list before the game, supposedly on Deco's request.
