“It exceeds €20m. I can’t give details because I don’t remember them exactly, but we have overcome the barrier of €20m,” Las Palmas president Miguel Angel Ramirez told Mundo Deportivo when asked how much Barcelona have already paid for Pedri.
“I think there were five clauses when Barcelona signed him, three of five million that have already been paid, one for international matches and one other variable that I don’t remember.
“The definitive transfer of Pedri to Barcelona ranges between €20m and €25m.”
When the Catalans agreed the transfer of the midfielder in 2020, they paid just €5m up front. Now they've paid over €15m in various clauses and could pay up to €5m more.
