Looks like the GOAT debate is not a debate at all for Deco, who used to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal and spent some time with Messi at Barcelona as well.

It's really insane how unlucky Portugal were at the World Cup. They had Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias, Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo and still they were knocked out by Morocco in the quarter-final.

Meanwhile, Messi helped his team to the World Cup triumph and eventually won the well-deserved eighth Ballon d'Or.
