Exactly 38 days after Bryan Zaragoza took on the tired Barcelona defence and came up trumps scoring twice and causing all kinds of trouble for the likes of Jules Kounde and Ronald Araujo, Bayern Munich have gone and signed him.
"Bryan Zaragoza to FC Bayern, here we go! Understand Spanish winger has already completed first part of the medical tests," Fabrizio Romano says.
Romano adds that Bayern will pay €15m to Granada to sign the winger until 2028.
Zaragoza will continue on loan to help Granada finish the season as strongly as possible. At the end of the campaign, he will board a plane to Munich.
It's conspicuous that Bayern started chasing the player after his heroics against Barca in October considering he was playing in the Segunda Division last season.
But the 22-year-old has been in remarkable form this season bagging five goals and two assists in 14 games. He's also been called up to the Spanish national team. You'll probably watch him at the Euros in 2024.
