Earlier in the day, Antoine Griezmann seemingly slammed Joao Felix for his failure at Atletico Madrid. The Frenchman claimed his ex-teammate didn't work hard enough to prove himself in Madrid.
In his response, Felix said: “I don't agree [with Griezmann], he has his opinion and I'm not going to comment on it.
"There are things he could have done better, me and everyone else. There are things that have not gone well but it is not just the fault of one, but of several other people,” the attacker said.
Felix makes a strong point for himself. There's no question about the level of talent Felix possesses and that explains why Atleti were willing to pay more than €120m to get him.
