According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are considering to give more opportunities to two La Masia youngsters as pivot alternatives to address Oriol Romeu's recent underwhelming performances.
The players in question are Marc Casado and Marc Bernal.
Casado's been regularly called up to the first team's matchday squad this season, but has only received eight minutes of playing time so far, stepping onto the Montjuic grass in the 82nd minute v Shakhtar back in October.
As for Bernal, the midfielder is only 16 years old, and is yet to break into the senior team. The midfielder is making waves at Barca B, though, registering three goal contributions in 10 games. Deco and Xavi believe he has all the right qualities and will get a call-up soon.
However, it won't happen until December, as Bernal is currently in Indonesia as part of Spain's U-17 World Cup squad.
