With just two days left before their World Cup qualifiers encounter v Peru, the Albiceleste's captain surprised everyone by leaving the national team camp.

Turns out, Leo hopped on his private jet and headed to his hometown of Rosario.

His journey was to mark a very special occasion - Mother's Day, celebrated on October 15 in Argentina.
