Alexia Putellas surpasses Jenni Hermoso to become Barca Femeni's all-time top scorer

Alexia Putellas made history on Sunday as she become Barcelona Femeni's all-time best scorer.

Bagging her 182nd goal in a Blaugrana shirt against Atletico, she surpassed the previous record held by another club legend - Jenni Hermoso.

The year 2023 has been a remarkable one for Alexia. Not only has she recovered from an ACL injury hat kept her on the sidelines for nine months, but also achieved incredible success, winning both Champions League and the domestic league with Barca, as well as the World Cup with Spain.

Interestingly, only five male players in the history of Barcelona have scored more goals than Putellas .Those are Josep Samitier (184), Laszlo Kubala (194), Luis Suárez (198), Cesar Rodríguez (232), and Leo Messi (672).
