"I hear a lot that it is Messi who will have it [the 2023 Ballon d'Or]," Adrien Rabiot has told RMC Sport.
"On a sporting level, though, it will be decided between Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland. Picking one of them would be complicated, it depends on what you base it on.
"Nor everyone will agree, but it will be between these two. I exclude the other options," the Frenchman concluded, laughing.

Adrien is clearly frustrated about the fact that he missed out on that World Cup last year. No surprise here – he awkwardly bottled his chance to win the 2018 World Cup after refusing to 'follow the training schedule' and asking the head coach to drop him.
Despite the player's claims, Leo Messi remains the biggest favourite to win the 2023 Ballon d'Or. Erling Haaland is expected to finish second while Kylian Mbappe would possibly complete the top 3.
The Ballon d'Or ceremony will take place on October 30.
