Earlier in the week, Arab media shared a story accusing Neymar Jr. of demanding the sacking of Jorge Jesus, the coach at his new club Al Hilal.
The former Barcelona superstar has now taken to social media to refute the outrageous allegations against him.
"It's a lie. We have to stop believing these things. Pages like yours that have millions of followers should not be publishing this fake news. With the greatest respect I ask you to stop this because there is a lot of disrespect in it," Neymar posted on Instagram.
Neymar is yet to score for Al Hilal after three games. Although he has two assists already. He's also missed four games due to injury.
Meanwhile, Al Hilal are not doing badly in the Saudi Pro League as they've won four of their first six league games and are yet to lose. Thus, there's no reason to sack Jorge Jesus.
