Gavi breaks another Barca record, gets celebrated by teammates

Gavi smashed yet another Barca record on Sunday by becoming the youngest player to play 100 senior games for the club. The milestone came in the Blaugrana's 2-1 defeat of Osasuna.

At just 19, Gavi has already featured in a century of matches for Barcelona since making his debut in a game against Getafe back in August 2021.

Gavi was celebrated by his teammates in the dressing room with the no. 100 jersey.

The midfielder only played three games for Barca B before being promoted to the first team by former manager Ronald Koeman. He was aged 17 at the time.

Gavi has so far scored six goals and registered 13 assists for Barca.
