Barcelona set to make surprise extra signing, it comes from Africa

Barcelona are set to sign Mamadou Fall in the coming hours, reports reliable Tom Bogert.

The Senegalese is a centre-back who plays for MLS side LA Galaxy.

Barca are expected to land the 20-year-old on loan with a buyout option of around €6.5m.

Fall would join Barca Atletic. Since he is right-footed, he is likely to form a centre-back duo with 'the Monster' Mikayil Faye Barcelona signed in the summer.

Barca and LAFC are currently signing all the necessary documents to get the deal done quickly.

From 2022 to 2023, Mamadou Fall was part of Villarreal.
