A nostalgic Barcelona fan has recalled what seemed to be Barca's best XI during the tenure of Ronald Koeman as head coach a couple of years ago.
Here's the team: Ter Stegen; Jordi Alba, Eric Garcia, Gerard Pique, Oscar Mingueza, Sergio Busquets, Gavi, Frenkie De Jong; Ansu Fati, Memphis Depay, Sergino Dest.

Apparently, a lot has changed at Barca since then. Today, only five players from that team remain a part of the squad — Ansu, Gavi, De Jong, Ter Stegen and Garcia.
One fan replied: "That version of pre-injury Ansu Fati was insane." "7 matches 4 goals 1 assist," another replied.
Others reflected on Mingueza: "Mingueza might have been sh*t but he was passionate sh*t."
"Mingueza was pretty good at the first season with Koeman, but unfortunately his form dropped very much," another said.
Barcelona struggled with this team and nearly missed out on qualifying for the Champions League due to injuries and bad luck. Things seemed to change when Koeman was fired and Xavi was appointed in November 2021.
