Puyol 'set to reunite with Pique', new role explained

Carles Puyol is 'set to reunite with Gerard Pique' – this time in the offices, according to Diario AS' Marc Bernard Suelves.

Pique-owned football club Andorra have been in contact with the Barcelona legend. The 45-year-old could join the club's board as an assistant to their director Jaume Nogues.

Andorra really appreciate Puyol. They believe this appointment would lure many potential star players to the club. Carles himself would be excited to contribute to his former teammate's project.

A few months ago, Puyol bought a mansion in Andorra which indicates that he could actually take up a new job soon.

Andorra currently play in La Liga 2 (former Segunda Division). Last season, they finished 7th – very close to play-off spots.
