Political activist names 11 footballers that 'must be saved at all costs' after urgent global warming update

NASA scientist Egon Cholakian has recorded an urgent message to all people amid global warming concerns. In an hour-long video, he lists all the issues and wants the best scientists to join together to help us avoid the ultimate disaster.

Chuck Borowski, a self-proclaimed sports enthusiast and political activist on Twitter, has reacted with a footballing perspective to the grim news.

He tweeted: "Egon Cholakian, a famous physicist at Harvard urgently claims 'Our planet's on the brink of self-destruction & humanity has only a few years left'.

"[So I believe these are] 11 eleven footballers we must save at all costs: Messi, Caicedo, Bellingham, Mount, Nwaneri, Endo, Haaland, Garnacho, Moukoko, Pedri."
