Barcelona issue statement about Arsenal friendly after Juventus game cancelled

 friendly. Blaugrana expect to be able to play the game. The kick-off is Wednesday, 7:30pm local time (4.30am Spain time, Thursday).

"FC Barcelona would like to encourage its fans to attend and enjoy the game we are going to play this Wednesday against Arsenal at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles," the statement, released via Twitter, reads. 

"Both teams are in close contact and we both have the utmost confidence that our game will go on as planned."

In my candid opinion, Barca should have gone ahead with the game, using the remaining players. Assuming it's La Liga games, would the game have been cancelled, considering the fact that more than half of the players were not affected???

I don't think Tebas will countenance something like this. I think the preseason is also an opportunity to try to cope with different situations. I mean a kind of learning curve in preparation for the league proper...
