Gavi presented with unusual gift as his local town celebrates Spain's first title in 11 years

On Sunday, Spain beat Croatia on penalties to clinch the UEFA Nations League trophy - their first in eleven years.

Barcelona's young gem Gavi was part of the winning squad, thus claiming his first international trophy at the age of just 18.

To celebrate the victory, Gavi and two other La Roja players, Jesus Navas and Fabian Ruiz, travelled all the way from the Netherlands to their hometown Los Palacios y Villafranca in the province of Seville.

The trio took to the balcony of the town hall to greet the residents and received quite unusual gifts.

The local tomato growers' association presented them with as many tomatoes as they weigh. Thus, Gavi is a proud owner of 67 kilos of 'bombon colorao' tomatoes.

One quick question. What is he supposed to do with them now?
