Spain beat Italy 2-1 to book spot in Nations League final

Spain have qualified for the UEFA Nations League final after they beat Italy 2-1 in the semis on Thursday.

Gavi made it to the starting eleven and played 68 minutes before eventually getting subbed off. Despite leaving the pitch with no goals scored or assisted, his pressing was basically the reason La Roja scored their first goal of the night.

Ansu Fati entered the pitch in the 74th minute but his most memorable moment of the night came before that, when he put his shirt backwards.

Of course he figured it out in the end.

The now-ex-Blaugrana, Jordi Alba, also featured in the game. He played the entire 90 minutes while also wearing the captain's armband.

Spain are to face Croatia in the Nations League final on Sunday, June 18.
