Xavi would have to win the league three more times to equal and Cruyff and surpass Guardiola. If we consider that Alex Ferguson won 13 league titles at Manchester United we can't put it past Xavi to beat Cruyff's record if he maintains consistency.

When he became Barca manager, Xavi learnt from Sergio Busquets that Ronald Koeman had set no such rules for the squad.

Xavi was left shocked by this and went on to set a number of rules that every player was made to follow. Here are the rules, as per ESPN.

. The first was to fine any player for being late to training. The fine amount was increased for multiple offences.

. Xavi also demanded his players to arrive at least 90 minutes before training sessions began, so that the entire squad could eat together.

. The coaching staff had to arrive at least two hours before training began.

 All the players had to return home before midnight two days before a match.

. The players had their of-the-pitch activity monitored to ensure they stayed out of trouble.

. Xavi also told the squad that they need to give their all in training to be considered for matches.

. He also banned any ‘risky’ activity for the players, which included too much partying.

. Xavi wanted that every player has a ‘good image’ to remain a part of his squad.

Xavi’s rules ended up working well on the squad and slowly but surely, he influenced a change that saw the Blaugrana bring home the La Liga trophy this season.
