The Spanish FA are 'unhappy' with Gavi for the way he behaved on the international duty, report Relevo's Sergio Santos and Alfredo Matilla.
At first, the 18-year-old refused to show up for a traditional autograph event ahead of Spain's home game against Norway. The youngster claimed that he had some discomfort and a headache, asking for some extra rest.
The FA, however, forced Gavi to appear on the event, and he did it separately from his teammates a bit later. Dani Olmo, Rodri and Jose Gaya - who arrived on time - were angry at their teammate.
Also before the game, Alvaro Morata - who is Spain's new captain - asked Gavi to control his temper in training since the teenager's style of play was too dangerous for his teammates.
After the 3-0 win over Norway, Gavi made it clear that he feels uncomfortable playing as a left winger. He was also visibly angry because of his early substitution. La Roja's new boss, Luis de la Fuente, still wants Gavi to adapt to various positions.
The 18-year-old played just 57 minutes against Norway and 12 against Scotland (Spain lost 2-0).
Earlier, Xavi asked Gavi to stay true to his style of play however risky it is, mocking Real Madrid and Spain fans in the process.
