Will Messi play at 2026 World Cup? Leo himself responds

"I don't know [if I will play at the 2026 World Cup – Leo Messi]. I always said that it seems very difficult to me because of age," the Argentine has told Diario Ole.

"I love playing football, I love what I do. As long as I'm well and in good physical condition and continue to enjoy this, I will do it. But it seems difficult," he added.

Earlier, Lionel Scaloni said that he would gladly welcome Leo at the next World Cup, refusing to completely rule out this scenario.
