Kounde stance on playing right-back revealed by top source – it has changed

Jules Kounde finally feels comfortable playing at right-back, reports Relevo's Albert Roge.

The World Cup impacted the player positively in this respect. Didier Deschamps also played the Frenchman on the right side where he produced several impressive performances.

Earlier, Kounde stated multiple times that he would rather play a centre-back than a right-back. However, Xavi kept on putting the 24-year-old on the wing, rarely testing a centre-back pairing of him and Ronald Araujo.

Barcelona are likely to finalise the Julian Araujo deal soon, so the right-back position finally seems well-occupied despite Hector Bellerin's exit.
