Jules Kounde might make his first Barcelona appearance on August 7 against Pumas in the Joan Gamper Trophy, per Mundo Deportivo's Sergi Sole.

He isn't expected to receive much game time, though. The Frenchman has just recovered from an injury and still trains individually.

Let's see if the defender makes it to Barca's La Liga opener against Rayo Vallecano on August 13.
