"My departure? Well, I left and that's it..."

Valverde has been out of work since leaving Camp Nou last year and now appears to be ready to return to management.

"I guess so, but it would need to be something stimulating, something motivating," he concluded.

"After leaving Barca, I needed some time away from football. I wanted to travel a bit, but that hasn't been possible with the pandemic. I'm not sure what I'm going to do next."
