So far at the tournament, the Barcelona captain has recorded a goal and an assist in two games for Argentina.
Barca B to land Espanyol winger
Barcelona B are set to announce the arrival of Ferran Jutgla on a free transfer from Espanyol on Tuesday, June 22, the reliable Albert Roge reports. The 22-year-old will sign a one-year contract with an option for an additional one.
In the 2020/21 season, Jutgla played 28 matches for Espanyol B and recorded five goals and an assist.
Barca target Almeria youngster
The Catalans are working on the signing of Almeria striker Jordi Escobar, Albert Roge claims. The Catalans want to sign the forward on loan and assign him to the B team. Last season, Escobar played 4 matches and recorded a goal and an assist.
Araujo picks up muscle injury
Ronald Araujo has picked up a muscle injury and will miss Uruguay's 2021 Copa America match against Chile, Mundo Deportivo report. Further tests will be carried out to determine the extent of his injury. Uruguay hope that Araujo will be able to continue playing at the tournament, although it's not excluded that he could be ruled out for the remainder of Copa America.
