"Thank you, I won't give up. I feel better now - but I want to understand what's happened. I want to say thank you all for what you did for me," Christian Eriksen has told the media, as quoted by Gazzetta dello Sport.
On Sunday, the Denmark team doctor confirmed that Eriksen had suffered a cardiac arrest, although the player's previous medical examinations showed nothing wrong.
The Danish midfielder collapsed on the pitch during the Denmark-Finland game and was clinically dead for some time.
The 29-year-old has played for Ajax, Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan.

Christian Ericksen had a close shave with the jaws of death during Denmark's Euro 2020 game against Finland. The midfielder collapsed on the turf minutes before half-time.
While it was reported that Eriksen is now stable, Denmark's team doctor Morten Boesen has come out to state the extent of what happened.
"He was gone," Boesen said in a press conference.
"How close were we? I don't know - we got him back after one defib... so that's quite fast."
Interestingly, doctors still don't know why the cardiac arrest happened to Eriksen.
"Eriksen's preliminary tests have given good results, but he will have to undergo further tests. None of us knows what happened," Boesen added.
