'That's my type of play/er': Throwback to when newly-minted NBA champion LeBron James applauded Messi for World Cup outing

"Heard Messi made the game-winning pass! That's my type of play/er. Win, loss, draw, you make the right play to help your team be successful," NBA legend LeBron James wrote via Twitter back in July 2014 when Argentina defeated Switzerland in the World Cup last 16.

Now, LeBron himself deserves some praise, too. The 35-year-old has become a 4-time NBA champion, this time with the Los Angeles Lakers, beating Miami Heat in the finals.

Although the two athletes haven't met each other in public yet, the whole world is waiting for it to happen.
