As a reminder, the centre-back has been linked with a move to Camp Nou with the Catalans reportedly ready to offer €40m for the Leicester City player.
"Barca already wanted to sign him when he played for Altinordu. We negotiated with them and they had submitted an offer," the agent added.
However, back in 2016, the defender decided to sign for Freiburg.
"We thought that he should go to a team where he would be a permanent starter so that he could develop properly," the agent explained.
Besides Barca, Mustafa Dogru admits that there are other possible destinations for the 24-year-old: "I think only Liverpool has the power to sign Caglar in the Premier League because of their economic conditions, but we must not forget also the French teams. Paris Saint-Germain could be a surprise."
