• Soyuncu would form Barca's backline for the next season alongside Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet and Ronald Araujo.
• Blaugrana already wanted to sign him when he was playing at Altinordu but the Turkish centre-back decided to join Freiburg so he could get more playing time.
• This season, the 24-year-old has made 42 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
