Andre Gomes has recalled an anecdote from his infamous two-year spell at Barcelona during an interview with Eleven Sports.
He said, laughing: "On my first day of training, I didn't have any boots to play in because of a misunderstanding and Busquets had to lend me his pair."
Andre Gomes joined Barcelona for €37million in the summer of 2016. The midfielder managed just three goals and four assists in 78 matches across two seasons at the Camp Nou stadium.
Nevertheless, Gomes won four trophies with the Catalan giants.
The Portuguese is currently at Everton for the second season running.
As for Sergio Busquets, the fellow midfielder remains Barca's key player. This season, 'Busi' has been involved in four goals in 32 games.
In total, the veteran midfielder has scored 15 goals in 568 games for the Catalan giants. He has won 29 honours during his glorious Blaugrana career.
