Reece James is back! Chelsea have confirmed that their captain has finally been able to return to first-team training.
The Englishman has not played any matches in 2024 for the Blues amid his recovery from hamstring surgery in December, 2023.
But the right-back is now working with his first-team teammates and trying to regain full fitness for the last games of the 2023/24 season.
James now has a chance to feature in the final stretch and help Chelsea end the campaign on a high note. Mauricio Pochettino hinted that he might even be in the squad for the Nottingham Forest game, saying: "We need to see today but maybe he can be available in the squad, yes."
The Blues have also confirmed that midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu has also recovered from injury and is back in first-team training.
