When asked at a press conference if he is under pressure from the Chelsea owners to deliver results in the coming weeks, Mauricio Pochettino admitted that he actually hadn't heard from them in a while.
"To be honest, in the last few months, we didn't cross, or message," Pochettino said.
"We communicated through the sporting directors but nothing has changed.
"We are not changing my view or my feeling, even in the last few weeks we are not crossing texts."
This is not necessarily a bad sign for a Chelsea coach. during the previous regime, Roman Abramovich was not the person who often dealt with his employees either, especially in later years.
Still, Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali appeared to be more involved in the process. Coupled with rumours about Pochettino's uncertain future, this might not bode well.
