With 10 goals in his last five Premier League games, Cole Palmer is a man in red-hot form for Chelsea.
But his manager Mauricio Pochettino continues to insist that Palmer has to improve in certain areas.
“First of all, it is to observe the pressure to play in the Premier League consistently. Then there is the demand in his private life," Pochettino said of the England forward.
“The demands are so high now. Because he's scoring, maybe he needs to pay attention to different things with things he maybe did not pay attention [before].
"That is going to have an influence on how he is going to prepare, how he is going to rest, how he is going to sleep, how he is going to spend the energy that sometimes before he didn’t spend.
“That’s why we need to be careful. We have the experience to manage this type of thing when a young kid becomes a big star. Maybe he is tired, yes because his life changed.
"He needs to learn from the experience,” Pochettino added.
Palmer has bagged 23 goals and 13 assists in his 39 games for Chelsea this season. It's a staggering return not seen at Chelsea since the days of Antonio Conte.
