Mauricio Pochettino confirms positive Christopher Nkunku update

Christopher Nkunku has been listed as a player 'in partial team training' by the official Chelsea website.

Speaking at a press conference afterwards, Mauricio Pochettino confirmed the news.

"We will assess him day by day," Pochettino said.

"He is in some part of the training session and we will see what his reaction of his body is and we hope to have him back before the end of the season."

Nkunku has not played a game for the Blues since the Carabao Cup final on February 25. He was also injured in the pre-season, meaning that he has been limited to just 10 appearances in his first season at Chelsea, starting just twice.
