Conor Gallagher will accept he'll have to leave Chelsea in the summer if he is not offered a new deal before the end of the season, HITC reports.

Chelsea are yet to initiate talks with the 23-year-old, even though his current deal expires in 2025.

The Blues would rather sell him in the summer than lose him for free in one year — especially since selling him would create pure profit for the financial books.

Gallagher will have no shortage of suitors, with Tottenham, Newcastle and West Ham likely to be among them.

Mauricio Pochettino is also an admirer of the midfielder, but it's unclear how much of a say he'll have on transfers after a disappointing season.
