Chelsea's biggest strengths from Burnley draw shown in lineup - 3 players feature

Chelsea dropped points at home once again in their 2-2 draw against Burnley in the Premier League clash on Saturday (March 30).

While it wasn’t the worst performance from the Blues, Mauricio Pochettino’s side lacked ruthlessness and bottled their lead twice against a 10-men Burnley side.

With that being said, there were a few impressive performers from the game – mostly those who were involved in the attack.

Cole Palmer was, as he has been for the majority of the season, Chelsea’s best player as he scored two goals and also created some big chances.

Along with him, Mykhailo Mudryk was also very impressive. He tormented defenders with his rapid runs through the left and created four chances, none of which were converted.

Malo Gusto was another standout player before he had to be substituted due to his injury. He was an energetic figure on the right, creating five goal-scoring chances as well as making two tackles and eight possession recoveries.

Chelsea will, however, need to significantly improve their overall performance levels to end the 2023/24 season on a high.
