How far are Chelsea in their Messinho pursuit? Fabrizio Romano shares latest

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Palmeiras winger Estevao Willian. The 16-year-old, nicknamed Messinho, has made five first-team appearances for his side, providing an assist.

Fabrizio Romano says that Chelsea have been scouting the forward since last spring. However, there have been no negotiations between the Blues and Palmeiras.

The journalist adds that Estevao's release clause is around €60m and many top clubs in Europe appreciate him.

The Brazilian has also been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona. The transfer, be it to Chelsea, Barca or any other club, will happen in 2025 when Messinho turns 18.
